Emie Lou officially began her career in the Hair & Makeup industry in 2011 after completing her Hair & Makeup Certificate from George Brown College followed by her hair diploma from Marca College (Toronto, 2015). However, her passion for the cameras, spotlight and all things beautiful started much earlier!

At the age of 13 she signed with the Sybille Sasse agency (formerly known as Constance Brown) where she posed for various publications. Her modeling career continued with the Folio Agency (Montreal) where she did print and commercial modelling for a variety of big brands including Molson, Labatt... Since 2012, Emie Lou has been represented by Sherrida personal management.

Throughout her modelling career Emie Lou has learned the ropes and gained valuable knowledge of the industry. In 2001 she moved to New York to improve her English skills (French native) and explored a multitude of artistic projects with photographer Stephen Blaise.

Following her adventures in the Big Apple, she returned to Montreal in 2003 and finished her Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University all while working with children as an Event/Teacher Manager for Mad Science. It was there that she discovered her interest in communications and love for people which pushed her to complete a Public Relations Certificate from the University of Montreal (2005).

For the past 20 years Emie Lou’s modelling and now Makeup & Hair artistry portfolio has continued to evolve. These days you can find Emie Lou moonlighting as a Barber in Toronto. With a long list of high profile clients, she still continues working on commercials (both as a model and as a make-up & hair artist) for different production houses in the city.
